Ajrakh is famous traditional block printing technique that originated in province of Sindh & Kutch. This product is made using a long drawn process with many stages of dyeing, each stage individually taking days to finish. High level of skill & concentration is required to achieve final vivid prints. Natural dyes like pomegranate peels, turmeric, harde powder, indigo etc are used for dyeing.
This bright cushion cover is made of Mashru Silk fabric woven using 11 paddle loom.
Characteristic imperfections associated with handblock printing may be observed.
It can go on any sofa/couch or can be used as throw pillow on bed or on floor.
